DCI to continue hyperscale focus

Wholesale data centre provider, DCI Data Centers has been sold to Brookfield Infrastructure.DCI is the owner-operator of wholesale and retail data centre assets in Australia, with a regional management team split between the Sydney and Adelaide office.

The data centre provider will continue to focus on hyperscale data centre solutions and its business strategy of acquisitions and organic expansion of its portfolio in the Asia Pacific market, where cloud-based services are rapidly growing.

Spencer Mullee chief executive officer at DCI Data Centers said, Brookfield is an experienced owner and operator of assets globally.

“DCI remains dedicated to delivering a high-quality data centre platform and is focused on providing our customers with best-in-class data centre solutions,” he said. “We look forward to working alongside Brookfield to create hyperscale campus opportunities in the Asia Pacific region.”

Brookfield Infrastructure is a global asset manager that owns and operates assets in the utilities, transport, energy and data infrastructure sectors across North and South America, Asia Pacific and Europe.
