Global industry partners and stakeholders must form open and collaborative partnerships to capitalise on the opportunities of intelligent transformation.
During his keynote speech at the World Artificial Intelligence Conference (WAIC), he called on partners and customers to collaborate for a robust ecosystem and a fully connected, intelligent world.
“Huawei works as a technology innovator with ecosystem partners for intelligent products and solutions by harnessing technologies such as 5G, AI, and cloud to support enterprises in their intelligent journey,” he said. “Huawei has massive complex, repetitive internal business scenarios.”
Tao talked about how the company combines these scenarios with computing power, algorithms, and data to boost operational efficiency, experience, and innovation.
“This commitment to development makes Huawei a leader in product innovation and intelligent transformation,” he said.
During his speech Tao discussed the importance Huawei places in digital sovereignty; individuals; enterprises; and countries requiring personal privacy; enterprise confidentiality; and national security.
“Huawei actively supports countries in their efforts to protect digital sovereignty with a strategy of building walls and opening doors,” he said. “This strategy prioritises secure data circulation and effective data openness to systematically build an intelligent world.”
He said Huawei knows that it cannot build an intelligent world by itself.
“It will require the engagement of governments, enterprises, and users worldwide. Huawei is dedicated to making this vision of collaboration a reality,” he said.
