Dell Technologies launches Hybrid Cloud Deployment

Newly releases subscription-based offering

Dell Technologies has newly released a subscription-based services that will allow customers to get started with hybrid cloud environments for as low as USD$70/node per day.

Customers can take advantage of “rapid deployment options” and infrastructure services to deploy hybrid clouds in as little as 14 days and scale environments in as few as five days.

The combination of simple pricing and infrastructure services allows customers to rapidly deploy hybrid clouds in their on-premises datacentres and out to edge locations with ease

Most organisations have an on-premises-first mindset as they begin to formulate their hybrid cloud strategies. At the same time, they are looking for more flexibility in the way they acquire and consume IT infrastructure with cloud consumption models gaining momentum as the preferred payment method, said Deepak Patil, senior vice president and general manager, Cloud Platforms and Solutions, Dell Technologies.

“In this hybrid and multi-cloud era, organisations see cloud computing as an operating model and not a destination,” he said. “They are seeking simplified IT experiences with common operations and cost transparency wherever their workloads are located.”

The subscription model is available with Dell EMC VxRail, the hyperconverged infrastructure offering with VMware and integrated with the VMware Cloud Foundation hybrid cloud platform.

It will also be supported by Dell Technologies Services, customers —including cloud service providers, who will be able to deploy a hybrid cloud in and scale their environments in as few as five days.

Select configurations of Dell Technologies Cloud are also now available and includes hardware, software and services—including deployment, support and asset recovery—offering customers everything they need to easily get their hybrid clouds up and running.

Dell Technologies Cloud, specifically VMware Cloud Foundation on Dell EMC VxRail, is available globally.
